LIVP App Support

Help with the LIVP app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac: importing media, making Live Photos, saving results, and contacting support.

Last updated: 2026-10-10

LIVP converts your own videos, GIFs, and Live Photos on your device. The app does not require an account.

Get started

  1. On Create, choose a conversion tool and import a video, GIF, or Live Photo from Photos or Files.
  2. For a video or Live Photo, choose the clip and cover frame you want.
  3. Tap Convert, preview the result, then choose Save to Photos if you want it in your library.

Use Batch to process several items. You can preview and adjust each item before converting the group. Open Works to view previous results, save them again, share them, or delete their local copies.

A result did not appear in Photos

Check that you tapped Save to Photos after previewing it. If iOS asks for Photos permission, allow the requested access. You can review the app's access in Settings. A saved Live Photo should appear as one item in Photos and play when you press and hold it.

Importing an existing Live Photo

The app needs Photos read access to retrieve both the still image and paired movie. If you denied access, open iOS Settings for LIVP and allow access to the Live Photo you want to edit.

Where are my results?

Generated results remain in Works and in the app's local documents until you delete them or uninstall the app. Saving to Photos makes a separate copy. Deleting a work inside LIVP does not delete its Photos copy.
