Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Livp ("we", "us"). By using the website or its services, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Livp.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Livp. If you use it for a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms on that business's behalf.

What Livp does

Livp converts between Apple Live Photos and other formats: video to Live Photo, Live Photo to video, still image or GIF, GIF to Live Photo, and Android Motion Photo conversions where offered.

Most of the tools run entirely in your browser. Your files are processed on your own device and are never sent to us. Browser tools still count against the conversion allowance shown in the product, even though the files never leave your device.

Some features require a server — for example higher-resolution output or processing that a browser cannot do. Those run on our infrastructure, consume credits, and are described as cloud tools where they appear.

Accounts

Some features need an account. You are responsible for keeping your password and API keys secret and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account if these terms are broken, if the law requires it, or if the account is used for fraud or abuse. Where we close an account without a serious breach on your part, we refund unused paid credits.

Credits and payments

Paid plans and credit packs grant credits. Unless a page says otherwise, every successful conversion costs one credit; failed conversions do not consume one.

For browser tools, a credit measures usage only: the conversion still runs locally and your files are not uploaded. Visitors receive a daily free allowance, and the current balance is shown before conversion.

Prices are shown at checkout and may change for future purchases. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period.

Refunds

If a cloud tool fails to produce a result, the credits for that job are returned automatically. If you are unhappy with a purchase, contact us within 14 days and we will refund unused credits to your original payment method. Credits already consumed by completed jobs are not refundable, and this does not affect any statutory right you may have.

Acceptable use

You may not use Livp to:

• process content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes someone else's rights;
• create or distribute material that is unlawful, sexually explicit involving minors, harassing, or designed to deceive;
• attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or bypass usage limits;
• resell the service or its output as your own product without our written agreement.

You are responsible for what you convert and for how you use the result.

Your content

Your files remain yours. We claim no ownership over anything you convert, and — for the browser tools — we never receive it in the first place. For cloud tools, you grant us only the permission needed to process the file and return the result, and to keep it for the period described when you use the tool.

Independence from Apple

Livp is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. "Live Photo", "iPhone", "iPad" and "iOS" are trademarks of Apple Inc., used here only to describe what the output is compatible with. Android and Motion Photo are trademarks of Google LLC, used in the same way.

Limits of the service

Some things a Live Photo can do depend on Apple's software and hardware, not on us:

• A Live Photo built from your own video plays normally in Photos, but some iOS versions may show "Motion not available" when it is set as a lock-screen wallpaper.
• A web page cannot write to your photo library. The final import step is always performed by you.
• Whether a third-party platform accepts a file — WeChat, Instagram, TikTok and others apply their own rules — is outside our control.

We describe these limits on the relevant pages. You should read them before relying on a particular result.

Availability

We work to keep Livp running, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise it will always be available, free of errors, or that it will produce a particular result for a particular file. Browser tools depend on your own device and browser; we cannot guarantee they work in every browser or on every file.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data or emotional distress, arising from your use of Livp. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 USD if you have paid us nothing. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of this page, and for important changes we will tell signed-in users before the change takes effect. If you keep using Livp after that, the new terms apply.
